Items:

1. Kevin gave an update on the GUI software, and invited users to a demo/discussion at next Weds software meeting.  11am in Surface.  Rich also spoke with Brent about next steps in developing the machine visualization software.
2. D-ESP.  Currently in the van, hooked into the MARS simulator.  DMO will need to run some tests for several days.  Batteries on D-ESP will be charged by this PM.  Science will discuss the runs available to us based on puck load remaining.
3. Drifter
   1. CMORE cruise will be Oct 7-Oct 21, 2011.
   2. Gene presented high over-view of tasks and who on team would be most impacted (mostly Scott and Brent).  Brent likely to take over comms issues.
   3. PAR and ADCP need work.  John R. may take over spearheading this.
4. NSF-OTIC
   1. Meeting is Jan 27
   2. Will have tele-con with Scott Soderburgh early next week for preliminary questions answered.
5. WHOI deployment.  April 20, flip June 4, recover July 20
   1. many exchanges with Bruce Keafer leading us to believe they are finally starting to see the difficulties with their mooring issue and timeline.
   2. Chris S. continues to ping on them for information on comms and deployment logisitics. 
   3. We will be sending Roman out early, and probably Brent to do comms checkout.
6. Juan de Fuca (July 12-24, 2011)
   1. Bill U handling logistics.  Jim, Chris P., and Bill will tele-con with Pete Monday (9:30) for preliminary planning.
   2. Pete here at MBARI Feb 7 to give 2:15 seminar.  Will hold ASTEP II review with Orphan's group that day.
7. G3 disucussion
   1. Much discussed about where initial efforts should focus (instrument parts, or system level blocks).  Consensus was to work both in parallel.  Starting with filtration and folding that into the trade-space of the system with repeated iteration.
